This book made me reconsider whether I should move to New York City and become a book editor. Nora and Charlie are rivals in the publishing world but find that they actually might make a good team. A love story that is also a love letter to older sisters and from the perspective of the girl who is usually left behind.

This is a sad, powerful, and beautiful book about self-transformation.

Unfortunately only five will be initiated.

Carrie Soto, the tennis champion, is back to defend her record-setting career. It's invigorating to read about someone being relentless in what they do. But, there is always a cost. In this case, to one's identity, legacy, and relationships due to the stakes being so high. This book portrays an unapologetic fight to the death, and the inevitable growth that comes along with it. All I can say is that it is a beautiful thing to witness.
