Kofi Nyameye went to school to pursue a safe and sensible degree that would have set him up with an equally safe and sensible job, but then quit halfway to chase his dreams of being a writer instead. He lives and writes in Accra, Ghana. His work has appeared in Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine, The Manchester Review, Science Fiction World and  

Chinelo Onwualu is the non-fiction editor of Anathema: Spec from the margins, and co-founder of Omenana, a magazine of African Speculative Fiction. Her short stories have been featured in, Uncanny, and Strange Horizons as well as in several anthologies including the award-winning New Suns: Original Speculative Fiction from People of Colour. She's been nominated for the British Science Fiction Awards, the Nommo Awards for African Speculative Fiction, and the Short Story Day Africa Award. She's from Nigeria but lives in Toronto with her partner and child, and she's always happy to pet your dog. 

Francesco Verso is a multiple-award Italian Science Fiction writer and editor. He has published: Antidoti umanie-DollNexhumanBloodbusters, Futurespotting and I camminatori (translated as The Walkers and made of The Pulldogs and No/Mad/Land). Nexhuman and Bloodbusters – translated in English by Sally McCorry – have been published in the US, UK, and soon in China for Bofeng with the translation of Zhang Fan and Shaoyan Hu. He also works as editor and publisher of Future Fiction, a multicultural project, dedicated to scouting and publishing the best SF in translation from more than 25 countries and 11 languages with authors like Ian McDonald, Ken Liu, Liu Cixin, Lavie Tidhar, Vandana Singh, Chen Qiufan, Xia Jia and others. In 2019 he was appointed Creative Director of the Fishing Fortress Science Fiction Academy of Chongqing (China) and lately he works as a literary agent for Future Wave, a Science Fiction agency based in Beijing, dedicated to import/export of copyright to and from China. Lauren Beukes is the South African author of Zoo City, The Shining Girls (soon to be a major series with Elisabeth Moss) and most recently Afterland. Her books have been translated into 24 languages and won several awards including the University of Johannesburg Prize and the Arthur C Clarke Award. She lives in Cape Town, South Africa with her 12 year old daughter and two trouble cats.
