Senator Wendy Davis will sign her memoir, FORGETTING TO BE AFRAID, at Brazos Bookstore, Saturday, September 13 at 1 p.m.

In order to have a book signed, you must purchase a ticket online, in person at the bookstore, or by calling 713-523-0701. Each ticket will be exchanged for one copy of FORGETTING TO BE AFRAID and allows one person to enter the book signing line.* You may purchase one additional copy to be signed (max: two signed books per customer). You must be present in order to get books signed.

Cameras will not be allowed at the signing table. Due to the expected crowd size and strict timeline, Senator Davis cannot personalize books. Only copies of FORGETTING TO BE AFRAID purchased from Brazos Bookstore will be signed. Please do not bring additional books or other memorabilia.

This event is strictly a book signing. There will be no presentation or rally.

Customers may begin to line up for the signing at 11:30 a.m. The line is first come, first served. Senator Davis must depart by 3 p.m. The book signing will take no more than two hours.

Parking is extremely limited. Brazos Bookstore shares a parking lot with five other local businesses. Please observe their reserved customer parking signs. There is street parking behind Brazos Bookstore along Kelvin and Morningside. There is additional parking behind the Shoe Savers, across Bissonnet. Street parking is also available beyond this lot on South Street. We highly recommend sharing vehicles whenever possible.
