Goodnight Houston takes families on a bedtime tour of the many points of interest that make this city so unique. It's a journey that will have kids dreaming of the magical places they can visit in the biggest city in Texas.

Kyle and Jennifer Solak are proud to call Houston home. They have three sons, Garrett, Elliott, and Graham, who are their inspiration for Goodnight Houston. Kyle and Jennifer originally hail from New Orleans, where they grew up with a great appreciation for their hometown. They wanted to give their kids, native Houstonians, the same connection to their hometown that they had growing up. The Solaks looked for something that captured all of Houston's unique attributes, but when they realized there wasn't a book introducing many of the local treasures their kids would experience, they wrote one for them. They hope that the book highlights the wonderful aspects of Houston for all kids that live here, and those who visit. As of right now, the movie rights for Goodnight Houston are still available, so until someone picks them up, Jennifer and Kyle are thankful for their day jobs. Jennifer is an attorney and has her own law firm specializing in estate planning and probate. Kyle is an English professor and teaches at Lone Star College's Tomball campus. The Solaks spend their free time with family and friends, and getting out to enjoy the city.
