40th Anniversary: Brazos Celebrates Karl Kilian

Friday, April 4, 2014 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm
2421 Bissonnet St
77005-1451 Houston

In 1974, Karl Kilian opened Brazos Bookstore with a mission: to inspire the book lovers of Houston with great new writing and to bring world-class authors to our fair city. His dedication to this city’s literary community - be it via Brazos, Inprint, the UH Creative Writing program, WITS, the Menil, or countless other organizations - has made and continues to make Houston one of those rare places where literary culture thrives. Come raise a glass to Brazos Bookstore founder Karl Kilian and mingle with the literati of Houston as we celebrate forty years of bookselling excellence.

Special thanks to our event partners, Coffee House Press and Brian O'Donnell
