Brazos Bookstore presents Anne Lamott, reading from her new book ALMOST EVERYTHING: NOTES ON HOPE. This event will take place on October 19 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. This is a ticketed event. Doors open at 6:30pm. the event starts at 7:00pm.

Tickets are $20 plus tax to admit one person. Each ticket comes with a hardcover copy of ALMOST EVERYTHING. Lamott will be signing books after the event. We are unable to accomodate personalizations or posed photos.

If you have purchased a ticket and are unable to attend, you must claim your book from Brazos within two weeks of the event (by November 2).

Divided into short chapters that explore life’s essential truths, ALMOST EVERYTHING pinpoints these moments of insight as it shines an encouraging light forward. 

Anne Lamott is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Hallelujah AnywaySmall VictoriesStitchesHelp, Thanks, WowSome Assembly RequiredGrace (Eventually)Plan BBird by Bird; and Traveling Mercies, as well as several novels, including Imperfect Birds and Rosie. She is a past recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and an inductee to the California Hall of Fame.

This event is located at St. Paul’s Church. Free parking is available across Fannin Street from the church. The Museum District MetroRail stop is within walking distance. The entrance to the venue will be marked with signs and ushers the night of the event.
