Sam Amadon is the author of Like a Sea, University of Iowa Press 2010, and The Hartford Book, Cleveland State University Poetry Center 2011. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in A Public Space, American Poetry Review, Boston Review, The New Yorker, Ploughshares, Tin House, and elsewhere. He is from Hartford.
Thea Lim is an MFA candidate in fiction at the University of Houston, where she also moonlighted as a nonfiction editor at Gulf Coast. Her writing has been published by the Utne Reader, Bitch Magazine, and Jezebel, and she is pleased to report that her ideas on race and culture have started to infiltrate college textbooks. She grew up in Toronto and Singapore, and she has terrible taste in music.
