The poem "Venus and Adonis," is Shakespeare's work based on Ovid's "Metamorphosis". Playwright Patrick Devon turns the words and rhythm of this poem into a bawdy comedy that explores what occurs when three couplings of Venus and Adonis, all from varying eras and with different histories, take center stage.
