This event will take place on April 8 at the Ballroom at Bayou Place. This is a ticketed event. Doors open at 2:15pm and the event begins at 3pm.

From Cecile Richards –– president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund for more than a decade, daughter of the late Governor Ann Richards, featured speaker at the Women's March on Washington, and a "heroine of the resistance" (Vogue) –– comes a story about learning to lead and make change, based on a lifetime of fighting for women's rights and social justice.

Tickets are $30.00 plus tax to admit one person. Each ticket comes with a hardcover copy of MAKE TROUBLE. If you have purchased a ticket and are unable to attend, you must claim your book from Brazos within two weeks of the event (by April 22). There will be a cash bar.

Cecile Richards will be in conversation with Commissioner Rodney Ellis.

This will be a presentation only. Books will not be signed at the event, and no signed books will be available. Tickets are nonrefundable.

The Ballroom is located on the second floor of Bayou Place in Houston’s Theater District. Garage parking is available, as well as valet services. MetroRail stops are within walking distance.
