Classical Theatre Company

Massimo Bontempelli's Watching The Moon was written in 1916 and centers around Maria, who embarks on a journey to rescue her daughter from the Moon, who she believes has kidnapped her. With theatrical magic and mystery told through symbolism and expressionism, this play takes the audience on an expedition of the soul.

Classical Theatre Company is excited to bring this reading to Houston and thankful to Brazos Bookstore for their generosity.

Paper & Pen Pal Club

Sara and Ülrika are big fans of analog communication! Join us each month as we receive a batch of letters from our literary partner in Florida, Keep St. Petersburg Lit. We’ll be writing back, too. Write about your favorite books, books you want to read next, and more.

We’ll have plenty of stationery and pens to sample and buy.

Poe's Birthday Celebration

January 19th is Edgar Allan Poe's birthday, and we plan to celebrate in style!

Join us for a variety of Poe-themed games and crafts, including Mad Libs and origami. Plus, we're bringing back Dean Turner, who will be giving a dramatic reading of Tell-Tale Heart.
